It's that melt-your-heart smile she gives you as you kiss her goodnight....that devilish grin he flashes you while he's contemplating doing something ornery.....or those sweet, serene looks of contentment you share as you both snuggle in close. Those are the moments you pray will last forever, but you know they are fleeting. Those are the moments that cannot be captured in a sterile studio. They are relished in your own home, your own environment, your own special place. Those are the moments 'In His Image Photography' seeks to capture. What started as a hobby of photographing God's beautiful creation, grew as Jill Allison sought to capture priceless moments in her own children's lives. After seeing Jill's photographs, friends and family started asking her to take pictures of their families, and In His Image Photography was born. Jill believes each person is a creation of God - in His own image, and she loves to get to know the people behind the lens. Her vibrant, relaxed personality will set even the most picture-opposed at ease, so the photographs will capture more than just an image, but a personality. So, what are you waiting for? The Pruitt Wedding 9/4/11 Slideshow : It's easy to see how much Jonathan and Chrissy adore one another... the tender way they hold one another, the simple smiles and the sweet glances they give when they think no one is looking. It was a beautiful afternoon reminiscing how God weaved their lives together through their favorite spots around the city of Kansas City. Our first stop was the fountain by their new home where Jonathan proposed to Chrissy, then to the Country Club Plaza where he bought her ring and finally to the West Side Local where the wedding took place. As Jonathan's sister, I treasured the time I shared with the couple, capturing their special day together. Congratulations to Jonathan and Chrissy! Love you both!

Fall : On a beautiful Saturday in October, sweet friends and I met at Rentchler Forest to capture the hope and faith that exudes from this family. You see, she is a breast cancer survivor. They all are. Just a few, long, months ago, she was diagnosed and their lives would be forever changed. But praise God, He healed her from this terrible disease and now, they are living life with a new perspective. Every life is precious and they have so much to be thankful for. They all wear the pink proudly, symbolizing the road they have traveled and as a reminder that this year, 2011 will never be forgotten.

Fall Fun! : It was a perfect October morning. The leaves were rustling in the breeze and the morning sun warmed us as we started out on our photography adventure. It didn't take long for me to observe how much this precious family loved one another, simply by the way they played with their son, as if no one else was watching. It was easy to capture the carefree spirit of Emmett, their adorable three year old. He always had a big grin on his face, telling the world that he has two amazing parents who love and care for him unconditionally.

Little Angels! : I had the amazing privilege of photographing this beautiful family one crisp, fall morning. You see, they are not only beautiful on the outside, but they are even more beautiful on the inside! God is preparing this young family to be missionaries and they desire to serve God whenever He provides the way! Believe it or not, this shoot only took 20 minutes! That is nothing but amazing with four darlings! They radiate the Joy of the Lord and I am so thankful for the opportunity to capture their sweet and gentle spirits!

Cleland Family : The Cleland Family is one of my most favorite clients! I love their sweet kiddos and all the personality they bring when they come for their shoot! The little guy is spunky, hilarious, and a go-getter, matching his whimsical red hair (I always wanted a red-headed boy)! The little lady is charming, sweet and just plain adorable, which is reflected in her big, beautiful, blue eyes. This was an amazing shoot... It started raining when we began and was down-right pouring when we took the majority of the pictures. Bet you couldn't tell! Enjoy!

Baby Cooper : Oh, the way these new parents so gently caressed their sweet, newborn, Cooper, brought tears to my eyes as I remembered snuggling my own babies! I loved the way they so beautifully displayed love at first sight, as their little angel was only one month old today! Bubbly Bethany! : Bethany has always been our energetic, free-spirited little girl in our family of four girls.
